Early details are sketchy but MSNBC is reporting that a Federal Judge has granted a “block” regarding Trump’s Executive Order.
Most of today I was moping, crying, donating to immigrant legal support services, angry, frustrated, going nuts on Facebook, talking with friends and colleagues, listening to radio editorials and reading reports from JFK Airport, getting testy with my loved ones (just from the stress)… I just can’t believe that fucker T— is actually raping the poor Statue of Liberty with such vicious, ignorant, harmful actions.
This is unforgivable. Horrendously stupid in every way I can think of (even the pro-business ones T— laughably thinks he’s so good at, let alone how this THREATENS security). This hits me in ways I’m having trouble processing – personal anguish blends with embarrassment for my country. I’ve been rather catatonic since November 9, but this jolted me back into the game. (Not to be too self-grandiose, but I’m reminded of King George when, in the film The Madness of…, he snapped out of his dementia and jumped into action.)
I like when a candidate keeps his promises once elected. Trump is acting very much the asshole he promised he would.
Interesting that the countries listed are not the countries that have the worst record of sending terrorists. He carefully avoided those countries because he does personal business with them.

If they want to ban people who voted for Trump, that would be better. I’m not sure how they’d figure that out though, but blaming all of us for this disaster sucks (I don’t want to have to suffer under Groppenfuhrer’s incompetence anymore than the other 74 million people who didn’t vote for him.
All Paul Ryan cares about is libertarianism. He wants to abolish the social safety net and government power in endless areas (food safety, EPA, infrastructure, etc) and use the money to give tax cuts to the rich.
He has no morals or backbone other than that, and he will support almost anything if he thinks it will help his libertarian fantasy come to life.

One of them had spent 10 years doing translation services for the U.S. military.
The other (and family) have been undergoing the clearance procedures for the last two years and had been cleared and issued entry visas.
And despite Cheeto’s lies, refugees wait an average of 18-24 months to be cleared for entry.
Surprise, not one of them have committed terrorist acts.
A lot of these people were already legal residents, you fuckwit.
