He’s pissing me off daily because I’ve lost all faith not only in this country and the people in it, but in my own family who are staunch supporters of him. Because of him, I’m seeing parts of my family that I honestly didn’t think they were capable of and that’s a hard blow to bear. I’ve honestly never felt so helpless and hopeless about the future before and it pisses me off that my only ‘hope’ for the future is that he somehow meets with an untimely demise.
I sent something similar - to my Rep and Senators, to Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, Steny Hoyer and Mike Pence. It ran to three pages of objections to the events of the last few weeks and demands for action. And I informed them that I make a pretty good salary, I am contributing to favorite political causes, I am angry and I vote. Probably sounded bitchy and angry. I certainly hope it sounded bitchy and angry!
