The Berlin Wall is probably not the best case to support your argument. It was built by people outside West Berlin to keep other people out of West Berlin, and given its short overall length it was easy enough for the East German authorities to make that wall extremely “successful”.

Apparently Trump just makes up crap to say for the hell of it.
It occurred to me this morning that Trump is playing a part, of course. But this time the part he is playing is very much like the waiter on, perhaps it was, Penn & Teller’s Bullshit! The waiter served various things, all the while talking up how great the stuff was, its provenance, how sophisticated it is, how expensive, etc. Just like Trump talks about himself. Now, the P&TBS! episode had a reveal: the stuff was just utter crap (low quality hamburger, wine-in-a-cardboard-box, and so on). Well, that’s what Trump is doing. He’s the waiter talking up the BS.
How about appointing an enthusiastic tortureras the head of the CIA?

Now the motherfucker is going to fire Andrew McCabe before Sunday solely to deprive him of his pension. What a petty little prick. Stealing the pension from a 30 year civil servant just because he wants to be mean.

This isn’t something that Trump has done to piss me off, just a random thought that didn’t seem to fit in any of the other threads. Remember how the right wing got into a lather because Obama didn’t show enough support to fallen police officers? He didn’t attend enough funerals or whatever. Just curious, has that changed under Trump? I haven’t heard many complaints from the cops and cop-supporters I know on Facebook. Is that because Trump has been more visible at police funerals?
