Yeah, though I wouldn’t credit Trump with having figured that out. I suspect it’s more a case of him “knowing” that HE is superior to all persons who fail to be white Christian males–and wanting the applause and cheers of those who see things the same way.

This has gone far beyond Trump pissing me, along with anyone else blessed with a functioning brain, off. It’s now the fault of Congress for not impeaching him and removing him from office per that wonderful document the twerp has no knowledge of.
I kind of doubt that Trump is bigoted - he thinks he’s better/smarter than everyone. Just based on Apprentice, he’ll taking sucking up from anyone.
Now, a significant proportion of his base thinks white Christians are the only true Americans (and a bump for male).

And how is he not a bigot? He thinks he’s better than EVERYONE. He thinks his opinion is the only one that counts.
When he realized he needed the Christian vote. You may recall a point during the campaign when he assembled a group of preachers. They stood in a circle, heads bowed for prayer, and Trump’s head popped up prematurely and his eyes glanced about as if to say: “How long does a prayer last?” That was his conversion.
He doesn’t call anyone a nigger to their face, so obviously, he can’t be a bigot.
The Christians and the Trump base understand one another. They don’t agree on moral grounds, but they have an intuition that smart people are taking advantage of them.
More likely his head spun around 360 degrees or more.
