Funny thing about number 1: Trump supporters will continue to support him even though this uneqivocally proves he doesn’t care about anyone other than himself.
Funny thing about number 2*: The head of the BS commission the twerp set up by executive order admits that his own state cannot provide that information because state law prohibits doing so.

The Chief Executive of Hong Kong and other members of her administration just recited their oath of office in front of the president, after which each member of the administration walked across the stage to be congratulated by the president.
AND it was still less surreal than the stunt that s.o.b. in the White House required from his [del]flacks[/del] administration.
What does that tell you when the government of the largest communist country on Earth is not as bizzare as what’s hapoening with America’s presidency?

Of all the many bizarre turns of this Presidency, this is turning out to be one of the oddest: there seems to be evidence that earlier this year, high-level administration staffers tried to extort a personal apology to Trump from the “Morning Joe” hosts by threatening to allow the publication of a negative article about them in the National Enquirer.
I’m not sure whether the linked article is entirely accurate, not least because the administration’s actions seem so utterly pointless and counterproductive, but then it’s not as of Der Trumpster hasn’t done anything pointless and counterproductive previously…
Why National Enquirer? I’d bet real money it’s one of the few print media Occupy White House hizzelf bothers to read, considering it to, ironically, not be fake news and thus, in his staff’s view, the best place for theit boss to see the negative article.
He continues the purge of all science and rationality in his admisnistration.

They are close and the Enquirer has managed to squash Trump stories -the article alleges that they shut up a girlfriend of Trumps that was threatening to go public by paying her off with a really good job. Then there were the assorted hit pieces published against Trump rivals during the primary season.
The stuff about Ted Cruz having 5 mistresses and his dad killing Kennedy or something.

Just googled Enquirer Rubio on a hunch and found an article in Feb 2016 alleging a Rubio sex scandal.
Not to mention scads of headlines callling Hillary a sociopath and a criminal. Then there were lots puff pieces about Trump himself.
So that why the National Enquirer /Trump. They’re his media arm.
