I don’t have the cite handy on my phone, but I think the Quinnipiac poll found that 54% of Americans find Trump to be an embarrassment. This is still short of the 100% it should be, but at least it’s heading in the right direction.

I had trouble falling asleep last night. Lying in bed, I tried to decide how, if I could have my wish, Trump would leave the White house. Would it be in:
A) handcuffs?
B) a straightjacket?
or C) a body bag?
I couldn’t make up my mind.
It would have to be a straitjacket. His tiny hands would just slip right through the cuffs.
We’ve hit a new milestone today. Trump passed the -20% mark (actual value -20.5%) net approval marl according to 538’s approval tracker. Due to the assumption of regression to the mean, Nate’s trend lines always point inward, but at some point I would hope it would become clear to the model that the bad approval he started with is only getting worse.

How is Peña Nieto in a bind? He never promised to pay for Trump’s widdle wall.
What gets me is him saying he can make a better deal than Congress. He thinks this a BUSINESS DEAL??? His objective has always to make the most profit from a deal. He can’t understand that US foreign policy involves actual human rights. He has no ability to consider the bloodshed. He won’t admit his own sins and overlooks everybody else’s unless they somehow make him look bad.
The biggest issues he supports involve making huge structures with his name on it. He doesn’t really give a shit about illegal immigrants. He just wants to make a 10,000 mile wide Trump Towers and have patriotism pay for it.
I seem to remember - was it him or his predecessor? - saying something about never paying for “a fucking wall”.

Nieto continued that policy. He’s not “in a bind” for anything at all. I bet, the meaner he is to Trump, the better HIS polling numbers will get.
Not B, that would imply a “miraculous cure” and release once the damage is cleaned up and the right guy is bribed. I vote for A. Just because it would cause the most public humiliation.
