Schwartz was a huge influence for some of us last year in seeing the magnitude of the potential disaster and I wish every voter had at least known who he is. That said, I may be taking anything he predicts with some grains of salt. Two weeks ago he said Trump is going to fire Mueller. Schwartz has always had who the man is pegged, I just am skeptical he grasps some of the variables in the unprecedented role and surroundings Trump is in.
“I give the best eulogies. The best. Everyone’s always asking me to come to their funerals all the time, but I have to say, c’mon, you know, I’m the President now.”
Yep. There’s nothing like an intelligent, rational, ethical, and competent person as president. And with Trump, that’s exactly what we have: nothing like it.
Trump was on all the channels, talking to the troops, while I wanted to watch the eclipse show on Nova. It was delayed, but not canceled, thank heavens.
I think the jerk wanted to hog the TV and “eclipse” the day’s coverage.
For those who don’t want to click on the link without knowing what it is, it’s a TV news screencap of the President, First Lady and their son Barron on a White House balcony around eclipse time, with Trump peering up into the sky (without dark glasses… yet).
This was such an awesome paragraph from his speech:
“… to do the exact opposite of what I used to say we should do”, he continued, in so many words.
I also like how his new Afghanistan strategy is basically an extension of the military genius brainwave he had during the campaign when he found out that the Americans and their Iraqi allies had made no secret of their intention to recapture the city of Mosul, thus forfeiting the “element of surprise”. Trump’s new Afghanistan strategy is, therefore, to not tell anyone anything.
Trump’s other councils may have disbanded but at least he still has his Evangelical Advisory Board. Well, most of it…
Other members of the Board still supporting Trump and his “values” include Michele “Crazy Eyes” Bachmann, James Dobson, Jerry Falwell Jr and Ralph Reed, all fine representatives of the Christian faith.
