I’ve also read that he had a hearing issue at the time and so missed some questions.
I thought it was his delivery of the lines, but I don’t remember hearing it or seeing it.
SNL had some fun with him, with Perot (Dana Carvey) driving Stockdale (Phil Hartman) far out into the woods to lose him.
Watch it for yourself.
He was doing it humorously; he wasn’t befuddled at all. And his following line about not being a politician and not using the “language of the Washington insider” makes it clear why he said what he said. I don’t think it was worded badly at all, I think it was done pretty well. It was just spun into something it wasn’t, and people who didn’t see the actual delivery only knew the spin.
After seeing the clip, what was your impression?
That skit is one that still makes me nearly pee my pants with laughter. They’re both so good in it.
Individual 1 says he’s financially supporting some of the 1/6 perpetrators, and will be issuing them a pardon and an apology from the government if he is reelected.
I do wonder what financially supporting means, though, since he doesn’t pay his own bills.
Sending them McDonalds gift cards?
I can’t tell if if she is being honest and agreeing with that slimeball, sarcastic, or she just want’s him to admit to more crimes.
I thought he delivered the lines well, and was well received. I also think the writer got a bad rap–those were legitimate questions for him to clarify.

Sending them McDonalds gift cards?
Monopoly pieces for free small fries.

I think honest. If you want to see an example of what the morons look like that continue to lap up DT’s bullshit, there ya go.

Monopoly pieces for free small fries.
Make that Monopoly pieces for a large mortgage.

That’s exactly what I thought too.
I hope the J6ers start to talk amongst themselves and soon learn that not a single one of them is being supported by tfg.
But they’ll never admit it out loud, amirite?

Christ. The asshole ignored a subpoena and him or one of his flunkies signed that there were none left. It would be a law artist who could come up with a refutation for all that.
Everyone needs to come to terms with the fact that the judge in this case is a Trump appointee and a Federalist Society member since 2005, and the 11th circuit is considered by many to be the second-most conservative in the country.
Remember the Kyle Rittenhouse trial? “Don’t worry guys, I’m sure the judge is just being harder on the prosecution because they have the stronger case and he wants to seem fair” (cue the Lee Greenwood ringtone).

Which judge?
Aileen Cannon.
I’m not sure that judge has the power to do much of anything. She doesn’t really have jurisdiction and the DOJ can appeal over her head. And she’s only reviewing a request for special master. The issue is whether the investigation might possibly be delayed a little. She isn’t deciding the outcome of any potential criminal indictment or conviction.
