Who knows if that is true. But he is into extortion. See Ukraine. That didn’t pan out. Nor did his abuse of power and veiled threats against the Secretary of State of Georgia (find me 11000 votes).
I think trying to extort the US Government would not end well for him. But he certainly is stupid enough to try it.

I find it hard to believe that even he would believe that extortion would work against the US government, but I could be wrong. He just hires people who will get him what he wants without having to think of how to actually accomplish it himself.
Still, why would anyone think the government would go for that? They could say okay, we won’t prosecute you, and then he’d just release the classified information to our enemies anyway. So of course they’re going to do whatever they can legally to try to prevent that.
He hires a guy who hires a guy to make the threat and he has nothing to lose. Gullible idiots gladly take a legal bullet for him. Meanwhile he just shrugs and claims any insinuation of misconduct on his part is fakenewswitchhuntcovfefe.

Yup. And I would not be the least bit surprised if Russia has compromising information on Trump. Maybe Trump want’s to make that go away. But on the other hand, he doesn’t seem to care two shits about what people think of him. Except of course dictators and his rich friends (which are really not his friends)

I don’t know if that’s true or not (I suspect it’s not) but this American Jew cares a whole lot more about the damage he did to my county than any claimed benefit to Israel.

I bet Trump does not suffer even a moment of discomfort for his antisemitism. I don’t know why he gets away with it but it doesn’t seem to matter what he says. Add it to the outrage pile where it will sit with all the other things he has been saying for years. It won’t matter one bit. No one will hold him to account for it. Talking heads on TV will talk about what a racist he is and that will fill the airwaves for a moment or two until he insults some other group he doesn’t like.
