It was his usual non-answer, where he tries to sound clever by not answering a question by saying something he thinks is reasonable, while really giving a controversial answer. But he can also claim later he never really said he supported the invasion of Ukraine. Like a kid in the backseat of a car on a long trip saying “I’m not touching you” while hovering a finger a half inch from your eye.
He has the intellect of a child and thinks he’s a some kind of master genius, surrounded by sycophants who reinforce how brilliant he is (because anyone who tells him the truth is gotten rid of).
He tried to extort Ukraine by withholding monies approved by congress for weapons. He also said that Putin invading Ukraine was a genius move. Just another one of his traitorous acts.
