How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

My response to Yoo’s question is exactly this. He wants the election to be considered only political (for Trump, not Biden), ignoring the crimes which he admits Trump has committed. He and his ilk want the pursuit of justice concerning Trump to be entangled and overridden by their political grievances. They don’t want voters to be concerned with facts that come out of Trump’s legal issues. They would rather the voters decide the election without this information.

Oops. The dipshit’s name is John Yoo. :upside_down_face:

In fact, we do let the American people decide that, that’s what a trial by a jury of your peers is all about.

We do of course have professionals deciding which cases should be presented to those juries.

The iDJiT plans to show support for striking autoworkers by going to a non-union shop and the event will be invitation only.

Yeah, I don’t think there is a Landscapers Union.

Invitation only. Sheese. I hope the ‘event’ gets picketed.

Trump and Biden’s autoworker conduct might just shift some blue collar support in Biden’s direction.

Trump is trying to use the UAW as a wedge to drive between himself and Biden but the way he’s holding the wedge will likely drive more of them to Biden and the iDJiT, of course, hasn’t noticed.

Is there anything supporting this? Or, is it just FAKE NEWS? As near as I can tell, the guns used in the Jacksonville Dollar Store incident were purchased in Florida. This gun shop is supposedly in in South Carolina.

See photo in this article. The name of the store is on the gun.
At least one weapon used in Jacksonville shooting came from South Carolina (wistv.com)

Yes, the one of the guns was manufactured in South Carolina, but both weapons used were purchased in Florida gun shops.

This appears to be fake. I can’t find it reported anywhere. There was not “the one” shop as the guns used were purchased in two different shops, besides the fact that both shops were in Florida, not South Carolina.

YouTube Video of the Jacksonville Police Press Conference. Fast Forward to around 12:45 to see the gun shops involved identified.

Note that it’s not a “store”. It’s a firearms company. Yes, it has stores, but they also manufacture weapons.

Palmetto State Armory began with Jamin selling magazines and ammunition online by fulfilling orders out of his garage. Shortly after, Palmetto State Armory began producing its own firearms, and firearm components.

I own a handgun and I’m generally familiar with them. Guns are stamped by the manufacturer. I’ve never seen one stamped by a store. Although it’s possible the gun was bought at one of the company’s stores, your own cite never even claimed that, just that the gun was “from” (made) there.

For example, I own a Smith and Wesson pistol. I did not buy it from S&W, even though their mark is on it. I bought it from a gun store. On the other hand, I have a couple of magazines that I did buy directly from S&W.

Ideally, yes. But there are usually a dozen or so amateurs involved in the process as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see his campaign book a Taylor Swift cover act at one of his rallies.

True, but IMHO a selected jury of American citizens is not the same thing as “the American people”.

(And AFAICT, in fact, as Folacin remarked, a legal professional—specifically, a prosecutor—has to determine beforehand that there is at least a credible allegation of lawbreaking, in order for the dozen amateurs even to get a chance to officially state their opinion about it.)

Besides, “Palmetto” says South Carolina more to me than it does Florida.

Indeed: The Twelve Men

Apparently he’s working on that right now by bringing Suzi Quatro out of retirement.

Assuming I’m not being whooshed, bringing a 73-year-old out of retirement sounds like a great way to connect with the kids.

He apparently really pissed off John Kelly who gave an interview to CNN.

“What can I add that has not already been said?” Kelly said, when asked if he wanted to weigh in on his former boss in light of recent comments made by other former Trump officials. "A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them.’ A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family – for all Gold Star families – on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.

“A person who is not truthful regarding his position on the protection of unborn life, on women, on minorities, on evangelical Christians, on Jews, on working men and women,” Kelly continued. "A person that has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about. A person who cavalierly suggests that a selfless warrior who has served his country for 40 years in peacetime and war should lose his life for treason – in expectation that someone will take action. A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.

“There is nothing more that can be said,” Kelly concluded. “God help us.”

I don’t know. You could have maybe said something earlier instead of continuing to work for him.

Probably told himself he was the adult in the room. If not for him…
