How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

Haha, I quit trying to keep up with that thread months ago.

Did you address the fact that there is no time, nor will there be for several billion years, when the sun isn’t shining?

No, but you have to admit that if the sun did stop shining, that is definitely a situation worth being concerned about. And Trump can say, in a way, he tried to warn us about it.

What about electric sharks? We have electric catfish and electric eels.

First, they shock you, then they tear you to pieces!

You’re gonna need a bigger electric boat!

As long as we don’t attach lasers to their heads we should be fine.

Would that be part of the RNC’s “Alan Parsons Project”?

Hey! When did SayTwo get banned?

No, he can’t.
He will be dead.

Ah, so there is a plus. Thanks!

How has the convict pissed me off? Today, I learned that, thanks to his disastrous time tarnishing the once respectable, once democratic, office of the president of the United States of America, his craven disciples whom he managed to get onto the Supreme Court, just made him, for all intents and purposes, a king.

Now another question:
Will trump go to jail?

@discobot fortune

:crystal_ball: My sources say no

The crook’s craven cohort on the court may have just made him, in effect, the federal king, but that does not make him a state monarch. The state court can send him for a striped suntan.

New York can do it right now (well, in a week and a half) but only if they do it right now and I hope to all gods great and small that they do. Put him in jail for 136 years (34 counts times four years apiece if I am remembering correctly) and do not let him out on bail while he is appealing. If this happens you get some prison time for Trump although I would not be at all surprised if the Supreme Court found a way to insert themselves into this situation so they could free him. Objection! I hear you saying. They can’t do that! Well, let’s hope that holds true.

If Trump becomes president again, he’s going to ignore Georgia and probably threaten to declare war on the state if they keep bothering him. I can almost hear him now. “I have something called absolute immunity. That means as President I can do whatever I want…” He does not draw a distinction between state and federal law and with all due respect to state law I do not think they will be able to compel him in any way once he has assumed the seat of God-King-Emperor for life.

Wouldn’t it be something if his “stellar” legal team forgets to request he remain free during the appeals process?

Sorry about the multi-posts.

Thanks to him, we now have an American version of the Ashes obituary.

In Affectionate Remembrance
of
THE REPUBLIC,
which perished in the hallowed halls of justice
on
July 2nd, 2024,
Deeply mourned by a nation in
disbelief and dismay.

R.I.P.

N.B.—The body will be cremated, and the ashes scattered across the land, leaving a nation in mourning.

Note: I had AI assistance in making this.

So if a President has immunity while he is in office, theoretically Biden could have Trump executed tomorrow if he wanted to and call it “presidential immunity.” Something to consider.

And any other president, don’t forget. Including Biden.

There’s no doubt in my mind, if President Biden were to attempt to capitalize on this inane decision, the current Supreme Court would immediatley decide the situation is within their purview and rule President Biden has exceeded his authority.

I don’t think it’s either. I don’t think Trump has any regard to whether electric planes will be solar powered in a material sense.

He simply does not think about the world in terms of whether things are materially true or not, and his followers love him because they are the same. He thinks about things in a purely “romantic” sense (as Robert Pursig would in part define it, in “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”). Which is to say he thinks about things not in terms of what they are materially, but in terms of how people feel about them.

He lives in the world of his followers and sycophants, who either literally or symbolically believe in problems with electric transportation, so those problems are real to Trump even if they are not materially real.

I think if you had a serious conversation with Trump about how an electric plane works he would fully understand that they run off batteries and are consequently unaffected by lack of sunlight. He would also a day later stand up at a rally and decry the idiocy of electric planes because they wouldn’t work when the sun wasn’t shining, and he would do so without any understanding he was misrepresenting anything or any thought that his followers were stupid for believing him, because he simply does not regard reality as being as you or I think of it. How he and his followers feel about electric planes is how electric planes are, to him.
