OH, it will happen under a Trump administration. Because of child labor, eliminating unions, crushing the minimum wage, eliminating overtime, and basically creating a class of wage serfs who are paid peanuts. Also, elimination of those pesky safety standards that get in the way of profits.
Not to mention exporting the greenhouse gas emissions that go into making those same goods. (The EU has a border-adjustment mechanism for carbon that is due to go into effect in a couple years.)
I’ll bet you a hundred to one that he still doesn’t know.
*Same disclaimer (with the addition I don’t bet in the first place. )
Sometimes what is not said is more powerful than what is said.* This is something the melon felon will never understand because he is completely incapale of shutting the fuck up.
*Something (I think) I came up with about a year ago.
So tariffs would encourage bringing manufacturing jobs back to America.
But Amercans are also screaming about inflation. Right now that is louder than the clamor for manufacturing jobs. And tarriffs will increase inflation.
IIRC that was part of NAFTA. Still not equal footing because wages can be substantially lower, but still valuable because Americans are supposed to care about those things, so it isn’t honest to not push for those things for imports.
Umm Mike? Might want to spend some time explaining to your conservative friends the difference between defamation and defamation per se. Ya know, so they’ll understand that if they call Democrats child molesting “groomers” they’ll have less defenses to a defamation charge then the folks that are calling Trump a convicted felon do.
“You know, they do polls on this stuff, and I’m at like 93%,” Trump said, referring to surveys that apparently exist in his imagination. “I said, ‘So why are we having an election? They didn’t have an election. Why are we having an election?’”
The Trump shouldn’t have gone around committing felonies.
It’s a fact. Stating a clear fact cannot be legally defamation. It may not make the person look good, but it’s not defamation.
Now if we called him a convicted rapist, we might be in a little trouble. Technically, that was a civil judgement against him, not a criminal one. But we are on clear ground to state he has a civil judgement against him for sexual assault.
