How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

Yes. Not only is your list longer now that it was just minutes ago, but each of your Horrors deserves further discussion (as you yourself noted). Here’s a bit:

Note that Bolton has been targeted by Iran BECAUSE HE DID EXACTLY WHAT TRUMP ASKED HIM TO DO, namely: exterminate Iranian general Qassem Soleimani. Mike Pompeo and aide Brian Hooke are targeted by Iran for the same reason, and Trump has revoked their protection details, too.

Some were puzzled by the latter two being put on Trump’s ‘please assassinate these guys’ list, as they had not spoken out against him. (Bolton had done so though he’d declined to go as far as to endorse Harris.) But there’s something else behind Donald’s malice:

So, ‘these guys said that the help I got from Russia was help from Russia!!!’ is the particular outrage here. (The ‘help from Russia’ part is the Alexander Smirnov involvement; see bottom of this post for a citation.)

I was going to comment on each of your points, but the post would be epically-long. So just this one:

Turns out that Colombia said “no” to Donald’s relocation program----so in retaliation, Donald has hit that nation with an “emergency 25% tariff.”

So now coffee prices (among other things) will be jumping up. Put that together with this week’s rise in egg prices, and it would appear that Americans are simply going to have to skip breakfast from now on.

Thanks, Donald!

The Russian involvement that Trump is enraged anyone noticed:

Bloated sack of fucking garbage who doesn’t kow jack about tariffs is slapping one on Colombia because waaaaaa the country rejected military deportation flights.

ETA: ACK!!! ninja’ed by two minutes by above post

Coffee prices will go up which will help in the ‘war on woke’.

Covfefe? Eggs? What happened to the traditional Russian American breakfast of tea and kasha?

Hey, it’s a different source, so: all good.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those GOP rally-goers who proudly wore ‘I’d Rather Be a Russian than a Democrat’ shirts, are already converted to tea and kasha for breakfast.

Posting here to not derail the P&E thread.

:notes:

American Fascist, here we go again.

American Fascist, why’d they vote you in?

I don’t want you raising the price of eggs.

Your cabinet picks were just the dregs.

I don’t like you tearing up every treaty.

Don’t want to see the Gulf of Covfefe.

Now Fascist, get a clue.

American Fascist, we’re sick of you.

:notes:

I’m not Canadian but no AI was involved (and it’s arguable if real intelligence was either).

It’s a great tune and your version scans.

But I don’t like calling that piece of work “American.” It just grates.

He got a plurality of the popular vote as much as I hate it. He’s American. He’s the part we’re ashamed of.

I can’t argue with that. (I’m disgusted that it’s true, but I can’t argue.)

Greg Palast, FWIW, takes issue with that. More like, the Rs managed to jigger the system to make it look like he got more votes. And we all know who else did that.

Meanwhile, the CDC has been muzzled until such time as the administration can set up a vetting process to make sure any statements being issued by any health-related government agencies are acceptable/favorable to the ShitGibbon.

Yeah I’m not boarding that train.

I get where you are coming from, and I do not exactly disagree. The biggest problem I have with that story is Palast. From the first time I encountered him, I thought, there is something wrong with this guy – the material probably has substance to it, but his entire presentation sounds all CT.

The Rs have shown themselves, repeatedly, to be criminals. It is the Fuck-the-Law Party. So, as long as we play out the leash, this shit will only get worse, and looking the other way is not an answer. We do not want to go there, but somebody will have to or we are just done.

True. It’s something they would do. I just don’t think they could pull it off without getting caught.

The reason I know they’d do it is because they’re constantly trying and getting caught (on a small scale).

Slight disagreement. The Republican’s are all about the trope of Laws that Protect, but do not bind themselves, and enforcing Laws that do not protect but DO bind on others. Lawful Evil at it’s absolute worst. So it’s totally okay for someone on “their” side to have, as a not-random example, dozens of spurious appeals and delays, but if someone gets convicted due to prosecutor misconduct and a court-assigned defender “it’s all an inevitable part of justice”.

So, for Lawful Evil, the emphasis is on Evil (or supreme selfishness to the extent that they even differ) with Law as the tool.

Fromt that link:

Speaking in North Carolina, Trump dismissed concerns about the safety risks these decisions might pose. “You can’t have a security detail for the rest of your life because you worked for government,” he said.

Let’s try to remember that for when we get a real president again. That real president can quote this as they cancel Trump’s security detail.

We’ll put right next to flying flags at half-staff when they die.

Since it will be More Important when Trump finally passes, are we going to be flying flags even higher than half-staff, or should it be even lower?

Sheeeit, that’s just recent stuff in the list.

There is all of course years and years of fraud and conning people out of money, and of course all the rape.

Not to take a back seat -

  • Extortion
  • Insurrection
  • Espionage
Those last three = treason. Yeah, yeah, people will nit-pick about what the constitution says. But it’s treason through and through. He extorted friendly countries for his own and a hostile countries benefit. He tried to overthrow the government for god sake. Nobody knows who has ahold of those documents, but I bet it turned the state department and many operatives on their head. All so he can make a buck or boost his ego.

This song goes out to Donnie in DC.

For some strange reason it’s been on my mind a lot lately…

Well, yes, because the thread title includes the word “today”, so it’s a rolling list of outrages, not a compendium.

But I’m willing to be outraged today about all that he’s done previously.
