The way I understood some of the reporting, Bragg said they would continue to pursue the investigation wherever the facts lead (what prosecutors always say, including Garland). But he sure doesn’t seem to have much enthusiasm for it, and he seems to think there isn’t that much there there.
Which would mean that he could have persuaded the attorneys who resigned to be patient and give him until [some future date] when they could resume the case, meanwhile compiling further evidence.
Is there a statute of limitations looming here?

I didn’t, mainly because I had to send $25 to find out where it was. Maybe it was in Georgia.

It makes perfect sense if you’re Qannon. I mean come on where else is Trump going to give the marching orders for The Storm except at a secret rally that only his most loyal followers will attend. A common theme in all those emails is “special” this and “exclusive” that. Allegedly, Trump has noticed my name hasn’t been on the donor list recently and he is wondering why. Of course, there’s no box to put an essay answer in and, like the secret rally missive, I’m supposed send at least $25 to “validate” the answer.
It’s all about the grift but lure of being noticed makes them blind to that.
I remember the old method of this grift was sending someone a nickel, dime, or quarter through snail mail, then you’d take the money and put it in the oh so convenient envelope to send back, at the same time authorizing your credit card to be charged or a bill be sent at regular intervals. But, of course, that would require The Tan Twerp to part with coins and that’s never going to happen.
Yes, the ‘secret rally’ idea does fit in with other “YOU ARE SO SPECIAL” messages typically used by Grifter Don to part his fans from their money.
