I just saw an email from the county I’ve worked for for 33 years. The Board of Commisioners unanimously approved a resolution of $200,000 for temporary food assistance for people on SNAP.
We are a small county, so this will help.
A direct quote from a Commissioner - “When there’s chaos and cruelty at the federal level, local government steps up to help it’s people”.
I’m proud of Summit County Colorado.
I’d hire a bunch of black women to do it.
What will future presidents do with that monstrosity of a ballroom?
Tear it down?
Turn it into a museum for Indigenous Peoples is my choice.
There’s already such a museum elsewhere in Washington; the National Museum of the American Indian.
For now. Give Trump another year and it will be gone.
I would not be surprised if he moves to eliminate it, along with the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Another point worth mentioning: at the time Donald was standing there looking annoyed and bored, NO ONE knew that the guy was going be okay. For all Donald knew the guy was dying or even dead. So the fact that he couldn’t be bothered to try to look concerned is even more telling about his sociopathy. He just can’t simulate human emotion.

Actually I would try to help. I’m trained to do that. It’s what you do, dammit. But then, I’m human.
Yes, most of us here would try to help Donald, even while intellectualizing that it would be best for the world if the help were ineffective. (We have consciences, for the most part. Something Donald will never understand if he lives to be 100.)
Help Trump if he dropped? Maybe an interesting poll question.
