Trump sanctions International Criminal Court, calls it ‘illegitimate’
President Donald Trump has signed an executive order sanctioning the International Criminal Court, accusing it of “illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel”.
That’s all? Why did he take so long? This is just slow-news-day “America First” policy. Does not meet the high bar of outrage or being pissed-off. Somehow I expect a lot of crazy stuff to leak out Friday night, including Elmo’s promotion to Senior something-or-other and getting a medal.

I read the description, and the intent makes sense. The light is from that angle to ensure his face is fully lit, rather than from above causing shadows.

You’ve reminded me of how when Trump left the White House the first time, lots of things that are supposed to be permanent fixtures or furniture there managed to walk out the door with him.
I know, in the grand scheme, it really was a very minor thing, but I think it served as the perfect metaphor for his presidency, in fact his whole attitude to life. If it ain’t bolted down, it’s mine.
