It sure seems like they realize that everything Trump does is making the country less safe. And they plan to continue to piss off the rest of the world until everyone hates us. When the population is sick, hungry and living in the streets, they can rest assured that at least nobody would dare mess with the U.S.

Agree. Park rangers are some of the most carring people we have. I know one - Science Teacher. He does ‘Ranger Service’ in the summer when school is out.

Trump wrote tonight on one of his feeds that Venezuela is now ‘rich and safe.’ It’s natural for upper class politicians to associate the two characteristics together. I know he’s just trying to draw equity firms and similar others.
Yet I resent a common implication that one can change a nation in two weeks by taking out a president. The second part that’s crappy is the correlation of ‘rich and safe.’ I know a family in a walled gated community of millionaires in the US that just had their house burglarized. ‘Rich and safe’ aren’t automatic, you tottering skivver.
I doubt most Venezuelans would agree with that assessment today, in any event.
It’s probably safer now than it was 8 days ago, but probably not as safe as it was 9 days ago.
