I suppose the next step is to mandate the WWII history curriculum I was taught in the 1950s (the height of the Cold War): that the USofA won the war all by its lonesome, except for a little help from the Brits. I don’t think it was a threat. I think it was Trump trying to one-up Shapiro and turn the subject around to make it about himself. That’s very on-brand for a narcissist like Trump.

We saw what Trump looks like when he’s threatening someone; like the “find me enough votes to win” or “dig up dirt on Biden” phone calls. When he threatens people he’s not that subtle.
It’s a MAGA human centipede
Trump is pulling out all the stops to prevent the second volume of Jack Smith’s report, on the Mar-a-Lago document investigation, from being made public.
Judge Cannon had placed it under seal until February 24th, citing the outstanding cases against Trump’s accomplices, but those charges were dropped soon after Trump taking office.
There should be no reason now to not release it, but the DoJ claims the investigation was illegal and should never be made public.
At the same time, AG Bondi has declared it privileged material and confidential, therefore not public information.
This is the Epstein files all over again. Trump will always fight to conceal evidence of his culpability. This will turn into a protracted legal fight. We might not see the report until Trump is out of office.
