The video is approximately 1 minute long. With his goldfish level attention span, I could totally see him sharing the video before getting to the end. Like my elderly relatives that share everything they see on Facebook, there is no way that he reads or watches everything that he posts.
It is all because of “Obamacare”. He’s super-sore that that name caught on, and is used affectionately (or at least neutrally) to describe the program. Especially because it was coined by republicans intending it as a mocking name to attack the program.
He wants something to cement his legacy like that, where people will just casually say his name.
The only reason that video is known is because it depicts the Obamas as apes.

The most favorable possible interpretation you can have is that he is lazy to the point of being dangerously negligent. And that’s assuming the best of intentions about him. It’s still disgustingly reprehensible.
The President posting the OBama’s as apes on his social media page is beyond understanding! Hopefully the Midterms start the dismantling of this tragedy of a government and bazaar leadership!

Rafiki is a mandrill, so a type of ape (not a gorilla), but he’s the one holding Simba in the presentation. You do briefly see some monkeys during that scene, but not gorillas.
They don’t have any gorilla characters featured in the film at all as far as I know. You don’t really see them until the spin-off TV show The Lion Guard, in which case they have gorillas as named characters at various points.
But can you really say you’re surprised? I am only that he didn’t do this shit during his first administration.
When it comes to Trump he deserves absolutely zero benefit of the doubt on anything. What’s the worst possible interpretation you can reach on any given event? Go with it, as it is undoubtedly the correct one. And that goes for anything MAGA adjacent in general. These are evil, unserious people. And Trump is their king.
