How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

Not very related, but ages ago when I was in the UK in London, there was a website where you could plan one.

The “Excursion” in Iran will be over when Demento Don says: “I feel it in my bones.”

Trump spoke with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade on his podcast “The Brian Kilmeade Show” and told him, “When it’s over –– and I don’t think it’s going to be long –– when it’s over, this is going to bounce back so fast.”

When are you going to know when it’s over?” Kilmeade asked.

“When I feel it,” Trump said. “When I feel it in my bones.”

And we know he has the most sensitive bone spurs.

Great. So the fate of the Middle East and the world economy hinges on the “feelings” of an asshole who is also a 34 time convicted fraudster, dementia addled pedophile, white supremacist, malignant narcissist and compulsive liar. Who doesn’t even seem to have a coherent plan or goal regarding the war he chose to start so he wouldn’t have to hear the name “Epstein” quite so frequently.

This is going to end well. /s

Pete suggesting what headlines should say from a “patriotic” press. Some of us call that propaganda, asshole.

Who supposedly attacked in the first place because he supposedly felt like Iran was supposedly about to attack us first.

Translation: We’re doing really crappy in a war we don’t know how to win and have lost all credibility so we need others to lie for us.

For those who don’t want to click, here’s the full quote.

Hegseth: “Some in the press just can’t stop. Allow me to make a few suggestions. People look at the TV and they see banners, headlines – I used to be in that business, I know everything is written intentionally. For example, a banner – ‘Mideast War Intensifies.’ What should the banner read instead? How about, ‘Iran increasingly desperate,’ because they are. Or more fake news from CNN. The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.”

The press should tell him that when the administration has better news, they’ll report it. It’s not for them to disguise the fact that the administration bungled this war (which was, after all, one of choice).

Also, it’s not like a headline such as “Mideast War Intensifies” is showing any anti-Administration bias in any way. If Hegseth were complaining about a headline saying “US Scrambles To Respond To Unforeseen War Intensification” or something, he could still go pound sand because free press, but that would at least be a grumble about an obvious media rhetorical slant.

But “Mideast War Intensifies” is about the most neutral way possible to convey the fact that this military conflict, which the Administration themselves chose to call a “war”, and which is unarguably in the geographical region often called “Mideast”, has expanded territorialy and strategically from its initial form. Hegseth is such a birdbrain.

Headline: “America Slays”. That’d shut Hegseth up, right?

Said another way, even rampant MSM sanewashing isn’t obsequious enough for these evil bastards.

Given the choice, I’d rather be shot. Yuk!

Why did you have to say that?

With apologies to Petula Clark:

America slays like a rogue empire do,
Hit ‘em with bombs from a stealth B-2!
Misguided missle* explodin’ and then
Couple hundred corpses of school child-ren.

* I’m still unclear as to the exact weapon involved, and whether it was intended for the naval base and went off course, or was aimed based on faulty/outdated intelligence. I’d prefer to think that it wasn’t deliberately aimed at the school; but with a drunken, racist Christofascist running things I sadly can’t rule it out.

I think there is video showing it was a Tomahawk missile. The school used to be part of the nearby military base but was now separated off by a wall. So the most likely explanation is that the missile hit its intended coordinates but they hadn’t bothered to double check that what was at those coordinates was what they wanted to hit.

President Trump on Friday invoked a Cold War-era law in a bid to boost oil production off Southern California’s coast and meet demand in the wake of the Iran war.

Why it matters: The president’s signing of an executive order allowing use of the Defense Production Act shows he’s trying to employ a variety of tools to try to tamp down the oil price shocks set off by the war.

The company faces a criminal prosecution by a local district attorney, a federal securities inquiry, two court injunctions and findings by county officials of a pattern of noncompliance, CalMatters reported last month.

I’m generally not upset when Trump lies. He’s a snake, what else would I expect? When his asseration France and others were sending warships to the Strait of Hormu turned out to be another lie I just shrugged it off. But when he said keeping the strait open for commerce should be an international effort my immediate reacton was a desire to yell, “Fuck you!”

For a moment, let’s leave off the fact that shipping is disrupted because of Donald J. Trump. He spent the first year of his administration thoroughly alienating even our closest of allies. I can scarcely imagine the unmitigated gall one must posess to turn around and ask those same alienated allies for assistance. I want to ask what the hell he’s thinking, but clearly considering the consequences of one’s actions is not something he gives a great deal of thought to.

To the degree he’s thinking at all, it’s that everyone in the world owes fealty to the USA in general, and djt in particular. So of course France will happily join our war on our side. Why not?

I’ve told this story before. …

I have a retired friend who used to work at Home | National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. She was always real tight-lipped about what exactly sort of classified stuff she did there, but it was something map-ish. Then one day she mentioned that the guy who sat two cubicles away was ultimately responsible for this little faux pax: United States bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade - Wikipedia.

Your targeting is only as good as your maps and the data about what’s going on inside each of those nice rectangular blobs seen in overhead pix that we call “buildings”.

Having an accurate and up-to-date understanding of what each building is used for is very difficult. Especially in countries that don’t welcome your representative’s presence.

Okay, so he’s authorized oil production off the coast of Southern California. How long before that production affects oil prices? In other words, it’s not going to happen quickly enough to matter. (Also, he complained about the look of wind turbines off the coast, such as near his Scottish golf resort. How does an oil spill look off the coast?)

Just another thing to piss me off. turbines are beautiful and a testament to our ability to innovate engineer and overcome.

Things that he is totally incapable of. So of course he hates them.

I can’t wait for the day that the Oval Office is restored to dignity and all that crap is pulled down. I hope they video the guys with crowbars pealing that shit off.
