I recently stayed at a resort w 3 tiers. Each w separate hotels, restaurants, beaches, and pools, but all within an outer umbrella compound and common branding.
The three layers were: the general population, the kinda-wealthy no-kids zone, and the “if you have to ask, you’re wasting our time” family retreat zone w kids and servants’ quarters for each accommodation.

Who, in Europe, is going to go to this boondoggle of grift? They will need wealthy MAGA Americans flying in, even at 50% residency that is 1 825 000 occupied nights per year. Assuming a 2 week stay on average, that is still (roughly) 130 000 MAGAts per year. Rich MAGAts.
(OTOH, having worked with a bunch of Albanians in fine dining restaurants in London, assuming the leachers actually employ Albanians, quality of service will be very good)

Trump properties aren’t about actually providing a pleasant lodging experience. They’re about licensing the Trump name, getting paid up front, then leaving the investors to twist in the wind.
Regardless of whether most luxury is only true luxury if your lessers can see you doing what they cannot, that’s still on brand for Trump. Remember how they threw a fit because they thought private companies should give them an audience so they can troll the libs? It wasn’t enough for them to just post to their own little jerkle cirk website: they needed to have their posts shoved into the filthy liberals feeds.
So the people who would consider the Trump name a plus for resorts would absolutely love walking past the steerage class patrons on their way to their “luxury” suites (I put that in quotes because obviously the true quality is variable and usually lacking at Trump branded places.)

In the UK, Albanian gangs are widely recognised as being responsible for the import and distribution of large quantities of hard drugs. Albania is not generally marketed as a tourist destination to us (yet) but you never know, it might just become a tourism hotspot if you can get cheap drugs while you’re there.
