How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

He’s pissed me off today by claiming that the Presidential Records Act implemented in the aftermath of Watergate is unconstitutional.

Here’s link to the pdf filing.

The Trump administration is claiming

Kristin Welker did a good job of standing up to the asshole in her latest interview, but I wish just once an interviewer would call him a liar and a disgusting person, or better yet, goad him into a stroke. He was rude and abusive, which is how he is with all women.

Yup. That’s a lie. That’s another lie. You haven’t the first clue what you are talking about.

Interesting timing, I saw a meme recently that stated wealth inequality is worse now than it was on the eve of the French Revolution. I’m skeptical, it was social media after all, so what say the teeming millions; reasonable, hyperbole, wildly inaccurate?

My speculation is that the rich are far richer than ever before, and the poor still ain’t got shit.

Hard to say. By some measures, it might well be.

But one difference is food is massively cheaper and safer (despite DOGE/MAGA’s best efforts) than it was back then, so starvation, though still a real issue, is less of one than back then. It’s easier to forment revolution when there’s widespread hunger.

Note - this is actually a growing issue with an increasing number of households reporting skipping or cutting back on meals. Bread and circuses is arguably well and good but there actually has to be bread. Our 3rd rate would-be autocrats seem to forget this part constantly and focus only on the circuses

Differences across eras aren’t going to be summarized by one number. But at least it is true wealth inequality is worse than its been in several generations.

IMO on a planetary scale you’re probably right. On a per-country scale, which is the scope of revolutions, I expect it’s a lot less so.

I didn’t realize this until I read it somewhere else, but after he ripped off the mic from his lapel, he stomped on it as he was leaving the interview area.

A big stupid fucking baby indeed.

Unlike Welker, I wouldn’t even have tried to talk him into staying once he got up to leave. I would have said something like, “Well, if you’re not man enough to answer my questions and want to stomp out of here like a big baby, go right on ahead. There’s the door.”

That came across loud and clear without her having to say anything. He always cuts and runs when the heat gets turned up and he knows he can’t weasel out of it. It’s the equivalent of a five-year-old saying “well, you’re a poopy head” and then running for mommy.

Yes. I like her as a fairly tough interviewer. But her entreaties to try to get trump to stay once he started storming off came off as kind of sad and enabling of the big stupid baby that is our President. Call him for what he is, for God’s sake.

I don’t think she’s allowed to say “pedophile cocksucker” on live TV, as much as I am sure she would love to say it.

We need Acosta back.

Yeah, my uneducated guess would be that the gap between peasants and starvation is wider now, but the gap between peasants and Elon may well be wider, too, with the caveat that the rich-poor gap is a tough thing to quantify.

Well, only one of those is among the Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television.

Things are going swell in the middle east. " Trump told Financial Times that Netanyahu will have no choice but to accept any deal the US negotiates with Iran, because he “calls the shots.”

“He won’t have any choice,” Trump told the outlet in a telephone interview. “I call the shots. I call all the shots. He [Netanyahu] doesn’t call the shots.”

lol. This becomes a crossover with the Schadenfreude thread, as Netanyahu gets everything he deserves for pairing up with this monster demon baby.

This made me smile, too:

What the heck is a ‘Mossed Out’ and a ‘W’?
