And, of course, this is the ongoing effort by P25 to raze the government at every layer. How cities and counties could survive without property taxes is, of course, a mystery. Presumably everything would have to be privatized.
Whether such an act could survive the inevitable court challenges is unclear, but most likely they would try to craft it in a way that gives billionaires tax breaks while regular citizens end up footing the bill.
