Ok, so your point was that some homeschooled kids on the fringe might not fare well as adults. I think we can all agree on that. It didn’t answer the OP, but whatever. If you consider the small portion of children who are homeschooled vs. the loonies that come out of public school…wow. It’s miniscule. Not to mention that if they weren’t homeschooled; by law they would have to be in public school anyway.
Conversely, do you believe that all public schools have a Columbine-style shooting every year?
I know a woman who homeschooled their SIX children (I’m pretty sure she did all the work, he’s a workaholic). Their ages are from 15-25. What’s impressive to me is that the kids are all so different - one is a violinist, one is in law school, another one’s going to be a teacher.
I’m sure one of their motives is religion, the kids are big on doing missionary work in addition to their vocations, and I know the father is quite religious.
