How Is The Rest Of Your Family/Friends Voting This Year?

My parents would vote for Hitler if he was the Republican nominee. They are “proud” to have never voted for a democrat in their lives. My father also doesn’t believe global warming is real so there ya go.
We do not talk about politics.
My sister is a true independent and she votes all over the place after careful consideration and balancing of all issues. She and I have had some heated debates. My brother is conservative by birth and will probably always vote that way but I don’t think he cares much or votes consistently. My son claims to be “almost” as liberal as his mother.

My office is pretty much split exactly as one would think. The minorities, gays and lesser earners all voting democrat. The ones with wealthier spouses and higher paying positions lean towards the right.

Opposite in my office. All the owners are hard core Dems, and huge Obama supporters and large donators. Everyone else agrees or at least pretends to.

My 86 year old mother is voting Democart for the second time. Rest of us will join her.

A 91 year old uncle is still convinced that Obama is coming for his guns, so I expect him to be the holdout.

My mom, my sister, my brother-in-law, one of my uncles, and one of my aunts all live in Ohio. Mom is proud to have been a hippie, and aunt still is. Uncle is fervently anti-Obama, but I think he’s likely to go for a third party. Sister and brother-in-law are both staunchly in the Romney camp.

All of us but the aunt will be at Thanksgiving together, as well as brother-in-law’s mostly conservative family. We won’t be talking politics.

My mother and brother would vote for Obama, but both have felonies and are ineligible.

Most of my cousins are either Libertarians, Mormons, or Republicans, or some combination of the aforementioned groups. The only cousin I could see voting for Obama is a hippy live-off-the-grid type and probably isn’t even registered. In any case, most of em live in Mississippi, Arizona, Tennessee, and Kentucky so, to paraphrase gamerunknown, they could write-in the ghost of William Faulkner and it likely wouldn’t make any difference.

My wife, parents, two sisters, three nieces, one nephew, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law and his wife are all, as far as I know, voting for Obama. My SIL’s husband is voting Romney.

My 92-year-old uncle is definitely voting Romney, and of course his wife, my aunt. But they’re in California, so humor their futile effort. My father came from a staunch Republican family. He’s dead. My mother could be alive, but she’d never voted in her life when I knew her and doubt she’d be doing so now if she is out there somewhere.

My mother, surprisingly, has finally thrown off the shackles of the pro-life right and is voting in the country’s, as well as her fellow human beings’ best interests.(and in CO too!). My father, same state, as well as both of my brothers are all voting Obama. I am in IL so it doesn’t really matter for me. I have a few aunts and uncles who will vote for Romney, or anyone not brown,(Was he even born here?). Most of my cousins, and people my age who I know are voting Obama. As I said, most of our votes don’t matter because we’re all in IL.
