Nearly a foot: he’s 6’6" (or maybe just shy of that), I’m 5’6". He can (and does) rest his chin on the top of my head when we hug.
I’ve got some 4" and 5" heels that I’ll wear on occasion - it’s fun being that tall and still shorter than he.

He’s not my partner/SO – yet – but I’m 5’3" and just starting seeing someone who I think is 6’6" (he seems to be the same height as a good friend of mine). Over the years I’ve dated men of varying heights – anything over 5’5" is “tall” to me – but he’s the tallest so far.
With my friend who’s 6’6", the only time I really notice the height difference is when I see pictures of the two of us together. It’s hard to get both of our faces in the same frame. grin
I’m looking forward to finding out.
I’m 5’6" and my hubby is 6’4" so that makes him almost a foot taller than me.
I’ve always preferred guys closer to my height (5’2) because they are easier to kiss and certain positions are possible. My ideal height for a guy has always been about 5’6/5’7, although I’ve dated guys as short as 5’1. My husband is a shade over 6’1, which is taller than I prefer, although I’d never trade him for another. He seems to get a kick out of how short I am, especially when I have to ask him to get down supplies that I can’t reach in my kitchen even on my step stool.
I’m 5’3"… my husband is 6’7"…
It’s somewhat noticeable
Boyfriend and I are both around 5’8". He wears big clunky boots most of the time and I can’t walk in anything but flats so he usually looks taller than me.
Both of our sets of parents have large-ish height differences. My mom is 5’5" and Dad was 6’4". His mom isn’t even 5’ tall and his dad is around 6’ or so.
