Please don’t forget that Daddy likes to sleep in sometimes too! Especially when he’s woken up every couple of hours during the night when the 20-month old isn’t sleeping well and still gets up at 6:30 for work. So says the father of a 3-year old, a 20-month-old, and a -2-month-old (my wife is due in March, with our third girl).
ETA: Oh, and I stayed up until 10 watching the Star Wars movies on Spike, then fell asleep and woke up just in time to watch the ball fall in New York, then stayed awake until 3 AM or so then was up this morning at 7 AM. Why, I’ll never know, since the aforementioned children and wife were 2 time zones away.
In bed, asleep by 1:15AM Hubby came home from work at 7:00 AM. The kitties had knocked over the Christmas tree, so vacuumed at 9:30AM then, we went to the Polar Bear Plunge. We’re the ones in the firefighter hats.
Maybe 4? Was at a party til maybe 3:30, then went to my friend’s place where we were theoretically going to talk and drink some more, but we fell asleep on the futon pretty quickly.
first time in many years that I actually stayed up until midnight. Usually I am a couple of hours asleep by that time - I usually wake up for the event itself, though.
Was getting ready to turn the computer off at 2355 so I could go to bed, but then my niece popped up on Facebook and we ended up chatting for a half-hour or so. Finally got to bed about 0030.
Went to bed right after midnight. I was out earlier in the night, but was starting to get a bit too buzzed. Walked home, had a late dinner, but then went to bed right after midnight Central time.
Saw in the new year at a party. I left the party at 1:30 or 2, then walked a long way to the night bus. Got on the night bus at 3 and fell asleep almost instantly, not waking up until the bus was a few stops away from where I’d get off. Then I walked home from the bus stop and went to bed at 4 or 5.
I was in bed very soon after midnight. My husband enjoyed his usual insomnia and was up till 5am or so.
We were supposed to go hang out in a hotel room with some friends after our fancy dinner out, but so many of us were feeling sick that we all went our separate ways instead. One person had had a liver biopsy that morning, and one had a migraine and was panicking that it might be a stroke (her husband brought her home early, she slept it off and is fine).
