How long can I refrigerate pumpkin pie filling?

I wanted to do a test run for some pumpkin pie before I make it for Thanksgiving. I made a double batch of the filling last night, made one pie and got great reviews today. After I made the pie (yesterday) I put the other half of the filling in the fridge with the plan of making the second pie on Wednesday. But today I realized that that means it’s going to be sitting in there for four days. Simply put, is that okay?

Doing some Googling, everyone says to freeze it, a few people say it’s much better if you make the filling the night before and refrigerate it overnight, but I can’t figure out how long it’s okay to be in the fridge.

I just have it in a glass measuring cup with a lid, I’m wondering if I’m better off (stirring it since it’s a bit separated) putting it in the freezer now and then putting it back in the fridge to thaw over night on Tuesday before I go to bed so I can make the pie when I get home from work.

Four days? It’ll be fine. I wouldn’t freeze it - I’m not sure what freezing might do to raw eggs (assuming there are raw eggs in it) but it’ll be fine in the fridge.
