I’ve been posting on SDMB for seven and a half years and I don’t seem to be slowing down. Ask me again in 2012.

I’m going to experiment with Live Journal and see how it goes. As boards go, this is one of the best going. No annoying graphics, pictures, animated smilies. Still, it is a bit cliquish and there are more than a few dunderheads.

I imagine I’ll keep posting here until:

  1. A better board springs up somewhere.
  2. The Reader decides to pack it in.
  3. Technology renders the place obsolete. Maybe we’ll all be communicating through our senso-pelts in 20 years.

All in all, I’d be very surprised if the SDMB survives 20 years in the form it’s in now.
