How long does it take you to shower?

I took from the OP as the total from stepping into the shower to dressed. Well, the shower itself might not be too long, but I like to be completely dry when I get dressed. So after toweling off from the shower, I linger until I’m totally dry - that’s the time I take to put on deodorant, brush my teeth, apply face cream, style my hair. Once all that’s done, then I get dressed. So probably 25 minutes.

5 minutes if I’m not shaving. 10 if I am.

It takes me 30 minutes from out of bed to out the door. 15 if I push it.

Male.

Male here.

Five to ten minutes in the shower.

Around three minutes to dry off, brush teeth and dress up.

7 minutes.

Male. For normal showers, from stepping in to dressing and out the door, about 15 minutes. If I’m in a real hurry and only need to put on casual clothes, I can do it in about 5, but add another 5 if I need to shave. If I’m taking my sweet ol’ time and a long shower, 30-45 minutes.

Male. Usually around 20 to 25 minutes, I shampoo and shave every time I shower. Shower and dressing is probably closer to 40-45 minutes.

This for me.

OK, my guess was five minutes, but today I used the stopwatch on my phone. I took a quick shower and it was 8 minutes.

Guys who take super fast showers; I’m willing to bet you aren’t getting your junk clean, or at least not as sparkly-fresh as mine. And what about your feet? In between the toes? Bottom of the foot?

5 minutes, much faster to do when you don’t have any sex and not worried about leaving a bad taste in someones mouth.

I usually soap myself up from stem to stern, including toes, armpits, lower legs, back, forearms, etc… so it takes me about 20 minutes to do that, depending on how awake I am. I usually shower first thing in the morning after putting contacts in, brushing teeth and using the bathroom.

Shampooing my probably within military regulation length hair takes another couple of minutes.

What takes more time is that I typically shave in the shower, old-school style, with a brush and soap. Add another 10-15 minutes for that.

In general, if I wake up at 6:30 am, I can be out of the shower by 7:10, including the contacts, teeth and dump prior to showering. Timing varies depending on fatigue level; if the 18 month old woke up 2-3 times over the night, it may take me closer to a full hour, and if he’s slept soundly all night for the previous week, it’s closer to 30 minutes.

I can’t help but wonder if the OP has any intention of coming back to explain this:

I never shower after a normal non-vigorous day. If I’ve showered in the morning before getting dressed for work (my norm), and haven’t exerted myself during the day, why would I need a shower before bed? So 0 minutes, I guess.

On weekday mornings, as I’ve said, I’ll shower before getting dressed for work. Probably takes me ~10 minutes between stepping into the shower, and stepping out after toweling myself off. This includes shampooing, because a shampoo is part of my shower, period.

On weekends, I’ll wait to shower until after I do whatever yard work or other outdoorsy stuff I’m doing that day. Might take slightly longer to shower under those circumstances.

Dude here. If I need to get it done, two minutes tops. That’s everything: soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If I don’t need to get it done, I’ll screw around in there for half an hour or more if I feel like it.

Anywhere between 3 and 20 minutes depending on what I’m doing. I have longer hair - washing it takes time. I exfoliate regularly but not daily. I shave sometimes and it takes a while.

How fast can I shower? 2 mins if I’m in a big rush and for some really weird reason not washing my hair.

How long does it usually take? 10 mins for the shower, hair, complete rinse, up to another 10 mins if my back or shoulder is bugging me. Hot water is an amazing therapy.

7-10 minutes.

I’m a guy. 15 minutes but I shave in the shower, usually just my face but sometimes my head as well.
Even when I was broke I couldn’t give up taking a decent length shower.

After guessing yesterday, I timed myself last night. Here is the result. Add maybe a minute if I shampoo, which I do twice a week.

Getting wet all over and getting the wash cloth wet: 45 seconds.
Turn off the water, soap the washcloth and soap myself all over: 1 minute, 45 seconds.
Turn the water back on and rinse: 1 minute, 15 seconds.

If I am in a strange shower that I cannot readily resume the temperature I set, I will not turn the water off. If there is no tub mat, I will have to turn the water on to rinse one foot before washing the other. If there is no tub rail, it will take a bit longer.

Maybe 15 minutes from naked unwashed to naked washed & dried. I take my time. If I was running late I could cut it down by half probably. The sound of running water is very soothing to me and I do some of my best thinking when I am in the shower or washing dishes.
