A few or several days is long enough, but understandable…hell we all do that sometimes. Weeks is another thing…gotta be alone or sick or some explanation (wore out). Months…almost inconceivable, at least if you’re an adult that has been or is involved w/ someone.
YEARS…screw that, it’s time to take a road trip…Vegas, New Orleans, maybe Fla. Spring Break’s always good & most any beach…bring along some Bud and a BIG bottle of Gold Cuervo, a few Trojans would probably be a good idea too.

That’s like the first and last thing I do everyday, Well most everyday, no body’s perfect (BTW, there’s no better way to wake up or fall asleep). Weekends could be at any time or place.

It seems I’m in the same situation as you, and it’s been four months now since I’ve seen mine (but mine’s a girl, not a hariy guy 
). I always wondered why people did the long distance thing, and now that I’ve been doing it for 8 or 9 months or so, I wonder even more … 
Worst thing is it doesn’t seem to be bothering her very much at all, all this not-seeing-of-eachother we have going on. So that’s making this thread (and the other sex related threads lately) even more depressing for me.

Long distance is not for everyone and some cope better than others. Just cos she’s coping with it better than you, doesn’t mean she cares less… my bf copes with it wayyyyyy better than me and I took a very long time to get comfortable with it. Its not a choice for everyone and not necessarily a choice I’d make again if the need arose… but hey, who knows who you’re gonna fall in love with huh?
Hang in there… over time, coping gets easier. BTW the sex related threads kill me too - I must be a masochist cos I started this one lol !!!
Oopsie. But notice the utter, sheer and gut-wrenching apathy. I didn’t even have the emotional intensity or investment of interest in the anniversiary of my nativity to add an exclamation point after the ‘yay’. That’s gotta count for something. My birthday was so insignifigant to me that I didn’t even remember it was my birthday until someone told me.
Thus, I didn’t remember myself announcing it.
