How long will Trump ramble on at the this years SotU?

He’s been on a tear lately jamming up captive audiences for hours on end at seemingly innocuous events. How long do you think he’ll ramble on tonight?

Also, how many times will he mention Biden?

I think he’ll only ramble for 30. Some will be following the script.

And Biden will be mentioned 17 times.

I was going to post a few days ago about predicting what he was going to say. I think it’s guaranteed that he’ll go off on the 2020 election, the Supreme Court (bonus points if “treasonous” is mentioned ± 3 words from “Supreme Court”), Biden multiple times, Iran, maybe Cuba, and how ungrateful people are for all he’s done for them. So, it’s going to be a busy hour, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he goes for an hour and fifteen minutes. Oh, and he’s going to take credit for Puerto Vallarta being in flames.

My local TV station is allowing in their schedule 30 minutes for DJT, another 30 for the official rebuttal, and then a commentary program after that. This leaves plenty of leeway for adjustments up or down as events transpire.

I think DJT will be on uppers and will spit out his speech so fast he will be done in 20 minutes, at which point the uppers will fade away and he will begin to spew everything that passes through his, well, I’ll call it “mind” although that is a misnomer. Assuming he has an uppers pump installed for emergency cases like this, he will suddenly appear to come to his senses after 15 minutes of that, and then will attempt to start over from the beginning. You will see the flashing red “STOP” light on his Teleprompter reflected in his eyes, and he will stumble to a close with “God bless Me.”

He claims it will be a long one, so we shall see…

Doesn’t that pretty much guarantee the opposite will happen? And then he’ll say afterwards “See, I told you it would be short.”

Hard to say, IMO. I think that the two most likely scenarios are (a) under a half-hour (which would be pretty short, compared to SOTUs of the last 30 years*) and (b) an hour and a half.

*- The last time a SOTU was under 50 minutes was GW Bush in '07; the last time it was under 40 minutes was GHW Bush in 1990.

I think I’m not gonna’ watch it. There’s too much stress in my life as it is and I’m already eating candy. I only eat candy when totally wrung out. Listening to him tends to make me yell at the TV like a loon, and I don’t need more candy. I’ll let MSNOW tell me what he said, and I’ll watch relevant bits when I have to. I’m glad I’ve been blessed with low BP.
Oops didn’t answer the question: at least an hour. Biden numerous times. He will excoriate the SCOTUS who defied him, probably by name to their faces. And ignore the survivors in the audience. I sort of hope they over do his uppers. Wouldn’t that be fun?

It doesn’t really matter, as it will seem endless.

Need poll option “Too Long”.

I suspect it will be directly tied to the potential profits of his cronies via Kalshi.

IOW: no shorter and no longer than it needs to be in order for his friend$ to ca$h in.

On the PBS News Hour, one of their correspondents said they were told he’s planning on speaking for TWO HOURS! If so there’s a gonna be a massive break for the Congressional restrooms after that.

I won’t be watching. I can’t stand the sight and sound of that scoundrel for two minutes let alone two hours.
