How many Amazon customers don't wear clothes?

Has anyone else gotten the Amazon recommendation “Amazon customers who wear clothes shop for:?”

Here is a link to an article about it.

I had spent the past week making fun of them for being inept. Guess I just didn’t get the joke.

YES! When I got it, I really enjoyed the fact that one of the recommendations was for “clean underwear”. As opposed to the dirty underwear they sell loads of? How weird.

they did say that the rec.s were jokes to promote the new apparel link.

it seems quite a few people were wooshed. they are going to stop the fun rec.s.

Hey, I found that recommendation helpful!

Well, considering that one doesn’t have to wear clothing in the privacy of one’s own home, provided the drapes are shut, there maybe quite a few Amazon customers shopping sans duds.

I just hope they all have in-home connections and aren’t logging on at the local library.

I thought it was rather clever, and I enjoyed the clean underwear thing.

It would be even funnier if they were able to surmise that buyers of particular books and music didn’t prefer clean underwear.

Didn’t one of the major online retailers use “Shop Naked” as an ad slogan for a while?

Bluefly? They had some print ads (drawings, not photos), of a woman in her underweare browsing their site on her laptop, blithely ignoring her BF who stood in the doorway by a phallic cactus, wearing only a towel.
