About once every ten days, I’ll have a Dr. Brown’s Celery Tonic.
I usually drink a bottle (20 oz.) of cherry coke a day. Also drink either couple gallons Ginger Ale or Iced Tea a week, plus my morning tea. Other than that, water or fresh squeezed OJ or homemade limeade or lemonade.
generally i drink three or four cans of pop a day. one or two cans of mountain dew and another can of pepsi.
or i will drink a 24 ounce bottle of mountain dew and then a can of pepsi or root beer or something extra sugary.
I used to drink about 4 or 5 cans a day, but I cut back when I wanted to lose weight. I average 1/day during the week and 2/day on the weekends. Other times I drink water or Cranraspberry Juice (gotta keep those kidney functional).
Mr. Mauvaise drinks nothing but Mt.Dew straight from whatever size bottle he has, usually warm.
Aspartame is bad ju ju, Max. I used to suck down Tab and Pepsi Light like there was no tomorrow until my cousin (a doctor) gave me his book on the evils of aspartame. Apparently he and some of his other doctor/researcher friends have studied this stuff, and it’s not good.
Yes, I was once a soda-holic.
In my twenties I was addicted to Mt. Dew. I would have a bottle of it on my way to work, at least three or four at work, one on the way home for work and two or three during the evening. I also once weighed 210 lbs (on my 5’ 8" frame).
At that point I switched to Fresca - 0 calories. The frequency didn’t diminish, but I did lose weight.
Unfortunately, here in SF Fresca isn’t that readily available - I can only find it in 2 liter bottle at Safeway or Cala Foods, so I’ve taken to drinking gallons of Arizona Iced Tea, and now I need to lose weight again. Ugh, it’s a vicious circle.
When I’m at home, I drink about a two liter or so a day of whatever we’ve got. Dr Pepper, Mt. Dew, Coke, Diet Coke, Pepsi, Cherry Pepsi, Fresca, Sierra Mist, whatever. When I’m at school and I can afford it, I drink about a six pack a day of cheap-o grape, orange, or cream soda. Usually I can’t afford it and drink about a half gallon a day of water.

Maybe one a week.
Beer is better. Dark beer is best.
I drink the equivalent of a 2Lt of Diet Pepsi every night while working. I admit it, I am addicted to caffeine, and get nasty withdrawl headaches if I go a day without any. I stop drinking sodas every couple of months, suffer the withdrawl for 3 days and “stay clean” for a couple of month, then fall back into it’s evil trap.
I also drink Hot or Iced Tea all year!
Maybe 3 Diet Cokes or Pepsis in a week.
I’m an iced tea fanatic. I make my own home-brewed and tote it to work in a big sipper. (Usual additives: artificial sweetner and lemon; mint in summer.)
Also Wyler’s Raspberry Ice drink; add to water and you’re good to go. Nice that it’s low calorie, too.
FWIW, I love Fresca, because it isn’t so terribly sweet. Of course it’s better w/ a heap of ice and a healthy slug of vodka–but that’s for non-work hours.

I’ve managed to sustain a rate of twelve cans of Mountain Dew a day for a week or so at a time. Usually, at school, I go for about five cans a day. At home, it’s more like a liter every once in a while. When watching Trainspotting at my fraternity house, people were speculating that if I was denied caffeine, it would be like the scene where Renton is locked in his room with severe withdrawal (heroin in his case).
“milk, water, juice” contingent. 90% water.
About once a month, MAYBE, I will have a Coke over ice with lemon juice as a dessert.
I think you folks with the hard core habits should try to break them. Between the sugar and the fake sugar (preference for which boggles the mind) you are gonna kill yourselves…or at the very least get fat and blow out your kidneys.

I am amazed at how much soda you people can drink. 12 cans a day?! Holy Jesus batfuck that’s a lot of soda!
I drink my requisite 4-6 cups strong coffee when I wake up, then water the rest of the day, maybe iced tea if I have some made or if I’m in a restuarant. The only time I drink soda is maybe if I’m at a party (even then I’d prefer tea if it’s available) or if it’s late at night and I have a paper to write for school, in which case I mosey on down to the vending machine and buy me a bottle of inspiration juice–Coke. It has to be a bottle an it has to be Coke, something with the carbonation. I get all giggly and jittery, and start writing like nobody’s business. Unfortunatly I had a lot of papers to write last semester and I think I might have abused the drug, since it’s amazing creative powers seem to be lessening over time. I may have to switch to the other kind of “coke” or something
I drink about a can or so of iced tea a day, but I don’t really count that as soda.
I drink apple juice and milk alot, somedays I’ll just drink water.
Soda I drink on occasion, if I’m at a friends house and thats all they have and they don’t have bottled water.
Almost never drink soda. It probably averages out to a can a month, if that much.
I used to be almost addicted to Diet Mt. Dew (gross, I know) but kicked that when I got out of college and was flat broke. Couldn’t even afford store-brand soda, so I started drinking lots of water. Now I drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning, and water the rest of the day - maybe 1/2 gallon total. Oh yeah, and 5-6 beers a week

I overdid it on the soda when I was a kid, so I don’t really like it now. When I eat out I order iced tea. The only time I actively pursue diet coke is if I have a cold. [TMI ALERT]I find it bubbles the phlegm away nicely.[/TMI ALERT]
If I’m at work and I need a caffeine fix it’s diet Dr. Pepper. I guess I probably average 1 a week.
