Given that college students have Internet access to a disproportionate degree, and that this board appeals largely to an educated demographic, I would expect college students to make up a very large portion of the board (larger than one could assess from a poll thread).

What was really the point of this thread? If it was to attempot to factually acertain the percentage of college students on the Boards who are of the “accepted” college age, I think it’s failed.
If it is to try to work up some demographics, quite honestly I think it’s in the wrong forum because nobody will se it up here.
One way or the other, people who are not interested in “fighting ignorance” will not remain here long, and even those who participate on these boards are educated to a far greater degree than myself will likely be continuing in such, and so I think we should get a reason for the thread, lest it either continue for no good reason or be forgotten.
OP: Please let us know what the beef is and we’ll try to help you out. Otherwise, I think it’s far too great a subject for a simple, “Hey, who are you?”
Mods, please scold me if I’m wrong, but I think if the OP is looking for factual info he/she needs to specify for study purposes. Otherwise the whole thing is pretty pointless.
