Tinker

None.
Actually, ummm, three, I guess.

Born in the U.S., have traveled to:

1)Canada (Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria).

  1. Mexico (A few border towns as well as Cabo San Lucas and other parts of Baja).

  2. Jamaica.

We’re headed to the Mediteranean within the next couple years though, so I hope to check out Greece, Italy, Morocco and others while there and increase my post…errr…country count.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Let’s see:

Israel (home)
U.S.A (home away from home)
Itay
France
Britain
Egypt (well, the Sinai)
Lebanon (does that count?)

A few…

Canada (home)
Nigeria (1 year)
China (2 years)
Hong Kong (a few weeks)
Thailand (1 month)
Malaysia (2 weeks)
South Africa (3 weeks)
Zimbabwe (1 month)
US of A… does this count? Anyway, lots of visits.

Stopovers in a few countries in the arab states. These were mostly less than 24 hours though, so I won’t count them.

Actually, I’ve lived in some places in Canada that are so remote that they should count as seperate countries.

I guess that’s a total of 9. Time to get on a plane.

-niggle

USA, Canada and Israel. Stopovers in the UK and the Netherlands.

Been to all 50 states of the US (plus Washington DC) and all 10 provinces of Canada.

I have been to:
Italy
Switerland
Russia
Holland
France
Germany
Austria

many more to come (I hope)

Osip

England (short stay)
France (very short stop over)
Germany

I count 18 countries that I have spent some time in. Canada (birthplace), USA (current home), Mexico, Belize, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, Japan, Israel, Germany(western), Austria, Italy, France, Monaco and USSR or it may have been the CIS at the time.

USA (birthplace)

Ireland
U.K. – does Scotland count as a separate country from England?
France
Spain
Norway
Sweden
Denmark
Germany (W. Germany at the time)
Israel
Egypt
Greece
Mexico
Bahamas
All before college.

Since then:
Switzerland
Italy
Vatican City (is that cheating?)
Monaco
Luxembourg
Puerto Rico (USA)
Netherlands
Belgium
Austria
Japan (layover only)
China
Hong Kong (back when it was RCC, not PRC)
Thailand
India
Tanzania
Kenya
Seychelles
Chile
Morocco
Turkey
St. Croix (U S. Virgin Islands)
Cayman Islands (U.K technically again)
Oh, and finally, last year, Canada!

How many is that? Even by the strictest rules, I still count at least 30.
I never sat down and counted them all before – thanks for the opportunity.

[I’m not bragging. And I’ve never been in the military. I just LOVE to travel. I was fortunate that my family instilled a love – and lack of fear – of meeting new people and cultures. Thanks, mom!]

Wireless, coming out from some SERIOUS lurking

Huh, lemme see:
-I live in the US
-Canada
-Mexico
-United Kingdom
-France
-Germany (West Germany at the time. I couldn’t go east because of some really big dogs and machine guns)
-Switzerland

So that’s only 8, unless you count territories that belong to another country:

-Puerto Rico (US territory)
-British Virgin Islands (UK)
-Bermuda (UK)
-Hong Kong (UK, in 1995)
-French Polynesia (do I really need to say?)

So that boosts it up to 13… I like it better there. Hope to travel some more soon, there’s still a lot I want to see out there.

Australia (duh), Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Thailand, Denmark (sigh), Holland, Germany (east, west and unified), Belgium, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada (does Quebec count as a seperate? ), US (not sure how many states I did tho’ - it’s a blur), South Africa, Wales, Vatican City.

And every state in Australia barring Tasmania.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunited States Canada Mexico Panama Haiti Jamaica Peru … Republic Dominican Cuba Carribean Greenland El Salvador too …

Oh … this wasn’t a cue for me to be singing Animaniacs. Dammit.

Ummm seriously

Australia, United States, Canada, Bahamas, Jamaica, mexico, Haiti, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Russia (except it was called USSR then) Turkey, Poland, ummm … I think that closely covers it.

Evil Bitch is going to go aaaaaaaaaaaaaall over the world. Still time to jump on the Evil Bitch Bandwagon

Let’s see: USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. That makes nine.
