You know what I find really interesting about your list? Following your thought process and seeing which files are next to which in your brain. You start out with Administrators and then Moderators and then…storytellers, I think, and then, I’m not sure, maybe MMPers, and then you go alphabetical for a bit with the O’s, and so on. Some of the associations make sense to me and some don’t, but it’s just so cool to try and figure out.

Close. After Moderators we get into some of the folks who were notable from 2001, when I first started out here, my “anchor names” if you will. Then Jonathan Chance through White Lightning are Dopers I know through online Diplomacy, then SenorBeef is running the NFL pick’em stuff, then some of the original MMP crowd, who I’ve also met IRL, with some random word association mixed in for good measure (Swampbear begets Ice Wolf and Mama Tiger), then a few more I’ve met in Florida, some more people their names remind me of, and it kind of bounces around from there. I did do an alphabetic, who am I missing thing for a bit. I even considered alpahbetizing my list so no one would see my associations and possibly be freaked out, but glad I left it for your amusement.
Gigi, who I recall is good with film trivia and some of the games I’ve been around in that, begat Diosa (Italian feminine) and yours came out of that because I actually thought at that point: “Gigi → DiosaB… Why not?” Spooje made me think of Spoofe and Anastaseon (penis ensues). Hope she finds that amusing.
I’ve met and or had offboard correspondence with just under 70 of the people on my list, probably about 40 of those I’ve met IRL at Dopefests or one on one. I left off a couple of names that I remember but they are no longer with us.
