How Many facebook accounts do you have, and use?

Ok, I technically have one but my son made it.

I don’t completely understand but apparently there are some games you can play and it helps to have an Army of fellow players to play as part of your team.

So my son created a facebook for each of the family and all the pets to up his game. He has 14 facebooks.

This is me, exactly, but add that I also got sick of Faecbook’s total disregard for your privacy and the fact that the creator and most people have very, very different ideas on what constitutes “privacy”.

Have 1 and use it rarely.

I signed up for it a long time when it was offered to a handful of universities and required an “@specificschool.edu” email to get access. As it got larger and larger I started to like it less and less. When it got to the point where 3rd party apps were trying to access personal info it was game over for me. I still have an account, but I have close to no information on my profile anymore.

Had one, closed it (maybe 2 yrs ago?).

According to the facebook help, this isn’t true - the most restrictive is always in place. Here’s what they say under the Friend’s List help section (go to account -> help center -> Friends -> Friend Lists and Privacy settings):

I have one. I use zero.

I have one and I use it every single day, mostly to pass links back and forth to my daughter and a few close friends. Today I shared the premiere video for the remake of Hawaii Five-0! Daniel Dae Kim goodness must be shared!

I also have two catbooks and two dogbooks. My cats and dogs have friends they need to keep in touch with, you see.

When I start booking gigs more regularly I plan to create a “fan page” for myself: anyone who is interested in following me can “like” the page and get notices about my shows, and I won’t have to spam all of my friends’ feeds or try to guess who I should invite each time.

I have approximately 1 and 1/10th of a Facebook page.

There’s my personal page … that I barely ever go to anymore (maybe once or twice a month). And then there’s my band’s page, which about 9 or 10 other people have access to and update far more regularly than I do.

I clicked “What’s Facebook” because my real choice was not there “Know of it and loathe it”.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but hearing from the people I went to High School with is the** last** thing I want to do.

Okay, that’s what I thought, or assumed, rather. Thanks.

Have + use 1.
