Don’t think so, more likely Mona Lisa or Mona Lisa Smiles unless you can tell me where code comes from.
[quote]
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Witch, The Tiger and the Wadrobe/quote] That would be The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe
No, I don’t think so, that would be too literal. All of the others are more oblique clues than just a picture of the title character. It’s definitely Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Blazing Saddles.
I think it’s both 10 and Green Card
Red Eye perhaps
Oops, some of those were obviously repeats. I somehow missed most of the first page.
Judging from the previous posts, there are some uncertainties. What do you guys think:
-Mona Lisa Smile or Da Vinci Code?
-Can Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe also represent Pete’s Dragon & Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?
-Is Beethoven the white bust on the left? Could it also be Hollywood & Bust, given the “Walk of Fame” star beneath the bench?
And anyone know who the soccer(?) guy in the lower left is?
That does make more sense.
Could it be both? There’s definitely a lion, witch, and wardrobe in there.
So, what haven’t we accounted for?
It seems that Jarhead is carrying a flyswatter.
There are two drinks and what looks like a cake above Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Something (maybe two) is (are) on the lamppost.
There is a knife (dagger?) in a palm tree.
A warrior (?) on the rooftop near the boomerang.
Is that a remote control near “the ring”?
let me know if these have been covered…
It’s Mona Lisa Smile, not the Davinci Code.
Bend it like Beckham was mentioned (the soccer guy).
It’s definitely both Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
I think Thirteen is almost certain - it is a recent movie and The Thirteenth Floor is very dubious for a building that states Thirteen on the facade and is far from 13 stories high.
Flyswatter: SWAT (police movie)?
Lamppost 1: The Pacifier (Vin Diesel)
Lamppost 2: Mask? The Mask? Man in the Iron Mask? Phantom of the Opera? Zorro?
Knife in tree: Blade?
Warrior: Zulu?
Remote: Don’t think it’s a remote… Domino, maybe?
And what about the revolver, the bullet, the milk/cocktail stand, the willow & other trees in the background, and the hole in the ground beneath the flipper?
Oh, and what about that weird earthern figurine thing behind the flyswatter? It looks REALLY familiar but I can’t quite place it…
Could the willow be Willow?
Oh, so that’s what it is. I thought it was a brush.
Cocktail and Layer Cake
The Mask (Or possibly Mask
Blade?
Zulu
The Black hole.
Mannequin?
Bullitt
The Dish
What’s up with the huge foot in the middle? I was going to say My Left Foot, but that looks like a right foot. What gives?
And what is that to the right of the orange?
And what’s up with the pitcher or mug next to the cocktail?
It has a similar form to those cave paintings from The English Patient, but that seems too indirect compared to the other clues.
Also, the pacifier could also be Dummy (which is Brit-speak for pacifier).
whats with the hair on the plant between the jarhead and the old english phone booth?
Hairspray, perhaps?
The sportcoat on the tree is killing me…
