How many people/enitities do you follow on Twitter?
Fourteen, at this moment. Depending on the time of year, it can go as high as twenty or as low as ten.
Like 98 right now. I like to actually read my timeline (or main feed or whatever the hell you call it) so I maintain my list regularly.
719 right now. But that doesn’t mean that they’re all active accounts. I could weed them, but if they’re not spamming me, meh, that’d take time I don’t really want to spend. I’d bet the number of active accounts is probably 1/3-1/2 of that.
You’d’ve done better with a breakdown by bigger spreads – 500 is not actually that big a number, so “more than 500” covers a huge amt. of territory. Most people who are actively engaged in Twitter have a large number of followees, and a more or less equal number of followers. I have (as of 10:00 Sunday morning) 1040 people I’m following, and 906 following me.
I’m at about 700 that I’m following. The way I see it is that there’s no way to read everything, so I like to make sure that there’s always new stuff going on, day or night. It’s just something to dip in and out of.
I wonder how many of the first hundred or so that I followed, I still follow? Less than half I reckon.
Zero. No twitter account, nor do I understand the reason for one.
