Which HOF’s have you been to? Bragging right to the Doper who has visited the most.

Women’s hall of fame (probably-- certainly in the town where it is)
Country Music Hall of fame
Catholics want to go to the Vatican at least once.
Muslims want to go to Mecca at least once.
I went to Cooperstown.
Also been to a couple minor ones that I don’t remember (along the lines of what blondbear listed).
Just the baseball HoF, which is great. I thought about going to the NBA one once while driving through Springfield MA but didn’t. Probably won’t now.
Just Cooperstown and the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
Baseball and Rock & Roll. It’s all a girl needs.
Zero.
None. I’m not sure I could even say with certainty where any of them are.
Just baseball. Very interesting. The most amusing thing is that they displayed scorecards from a NY sportswriter and a Philadelphia sportswriter and I could not really understand the former, while I could read the Philly one perfectly. I’m from Philly and my father taught me to score. I taught my son, who lives in Seattle.
I confess, I never ever considered that any of those “hall of fame” concepts were actual physical entities, I assumed they were just an honorific.
Are they like museums with…like…people in it? a name plate? a photo? a piece of memorabilia?
Women’s basketball hall of fame
College football hall of fame
Rock & Roll hall of fame
I think only the International Polka Association Hall of Fame and the Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame (because I was working there.)
I was going to say zero, but your post reminded me that I have been to the Nation Women’s Hall of Fame on a school trip.
Zero.
Unless the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History counts.
Usually there will be a room with plaques for each of the “members” of the hall, then the rest of the building will be basically a museum, yes. Many of the museum exhibits will have items from HOF members (a Babe Ruth bat, a Keith Richards guitar, a Jim Brown helmet) but the items on display are not limited to items related exclusively to the members.
The HOF will also do rotating exhibits like a museum does.
Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame
That is all.
Do Walks of Fame or Walls of Fame count? I’ll bet more than a few folks here have strolled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
