How many intermissions does Mozart's "Magic Flute" have?

I’m taking my wife to the opera (her first in 15+ years) and we’ll be doing the Standing Room tickets (which have fantastic views if you go early enough, plus they’re really cheap).

However, I don’t know what to expect in terms of intermissions. I know the Italians have plenty (so there are ample opportunities to stretch ones legs), but the only German opera I’ve seen standing is Wagner’s Ring Cycle, and I would like to think I won’t be subjecting her to a similar experience (in terms of strain on the legs).

So, any Dopers know?

It’s about a 3 hour opera with normally one intermission.

The running time the SF Opera site gives is 3.5 hours, but it doesn’t break it down by acts. I see (on a little googling) that it is two acts.

Thanks Israfel. Hope Mrs. AG’s up for it.

Talk about a misread title! I read “How many intestines does Mozart’s Magic Flute have”
