How Many Major League Baseball Games Have You Been To?

I saw an Orioles game in the old Memorial Stadium, and maybe four games at Fenway.

I’ve seen 6 games. One at Metropolitan Stadium and two at Metrodome in Minneapolis. Two games at the Ballpark at Arlington and one at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

One Dodgers, when I lived in LA in the 80s, the rest Dbacks.

My first game was historic: I saw Roger Maris hit home run #61.

I went to another Yankees game the next year. We didn’t realize it was a doubleheader (due to a rainout) so we came late and left as soon as it was over. They were playing the Athletics, and I remember liking the green uniforms the A’s were using (the first to use anything other than white or gray in decades).

I went to maybe six Mets games since then. One was the last regular season game where Sandy Koufax had to be pulled – he gave up six runs in two innings.

I also saw two Red Sox games in 1968 when I was staying in the Boston area.

Well over 50 but probably less than 500.

Between the Rangers and Red Sox? A hundred is an exaggeration, but not by too much.

About 45. Mostly Yankees, some Orioles when I lived in DC, a few Mets, three Red Sox, one Dodgers.

It would be more, but for the last 20 years I haven’t been in the US for more than a week or so a year during the summer.

Over 50 for sure.

I have been to MLB games in Montreal’s Jarry Park and Washington DC’s old RFK stadium. In the same year.

Probably not many people have that distinction!

I voted over 50 because I’ve been to many, many–more than any other professional sport-- so I just assumed it would be over 50. But now that I’m doing the actual math, it’s probably more likely in the mid-30s to low 40s.

Sorry for ruining your nice poll there.

Probably 15-20 with the Rangers. Maybe one at the old ballpark.

I’ve been to over 50 in the past 5 years. I’m sure at least 50 in the 30 years prior. I hope to go to more than 100 more

Oh, all Indians games in Cleveland, except those 3 Indians/Expos games we caught in Montreal.

For me, I’d say around 20. Most were Seattle Mariner games with the majority at the Kingdome and three at Safeco. There were also three Oakland A’s games at the Colosseum.

I not counting this one but I almost attended a Baltimore Oriole game at Memorial Stadium. However, it got rained out and I didn’t go to the make-up game because I had a prior commitment. I still have the unused ticket.

I’ve been to countless minor league games mainly because for a couple summers I had a job at the local ballpark.

I have been to 3, all at Fenway. One of them was the first game of last year’s ALCS, I got an amazing deal on a ticket. It was a cold and wet night, people were in Kenmore Sq selling tickets for $30.

About seven or eight, I think. First one was a Mets game, 1979. I was nine years old. I knew nothing about baseball. My only memory of the game was the announcer intoning the odd name “Ed Kranepool.” I looked him up recently – turns out that he started playing for the Mets in 1962 (!), had contributed to both their World Series winning teams ('69 and '73), and I caught him when he was just about to retire (by '79 the Mets were back to sucking.)

Close to, but less than 50. A few at Forbes Field, many at Three Rivers Stadium, and a few at PNC Park.

About 45 to 50 games. I’ve seen games in maybe 15 different parks, many of which no longer exist. Tops was the Orioles’ Memorial Park; second is Kansas City’s Kaufman Stadium. (At which I have seen no other teams than the Royals and Orioles–road trips from Denver or St. Louis.)

I’ve been to a World Series game in St. Louis.

Probably around 10ish, a few at Oakland, few at AT&T, and one at Philly.

At least a hundred. Probably not 200 though.

From 1985 until 1990 or so I went all the time in the summer to see The Mets. My brother was huge fan and would take me along for company (I’m not a huge baseball fan but the games are fun live). I couldn’t even say how many but it was a lot.

At least 150 Mets home games and at least 10 games in other ballparks.
