1 pair old black casual shoes
1 pair good sneakers

DH refers to the guest room as “Mount Shoe.”

Do snow shoes count?

Please don’t invite my wife to post!

Dress shoes, hiking shoes and sandals. I wear the sandals as much as possible.

I have four pair that i actually wear. There’s a closet full that haven’t seen the light for years. (I am NOT a pack rat!)

Well I had 12 more pair I forgot about, bringing it to a grand total of 57. And I wear all of them (except the Adidas, those are my river shoes). I need a bigger closet!

I counted my boyfriend’s shoes, he has 8 pair. They are jammed into this one little corner.

About 30 pair. But 10 pairs are sequined mesh slip-on rubber soled flats from the Chinese Dollar Store. (I got rid of several pairs of high heels and some boots about a month ago.)

Yes. I’m a 10 narrow, and it’s incredibly hard to find shoes that fit well, so when I find em, I buy em.

I’ve never counted, but I’ll guess 25 to 30.

Seven pair. In approximate order of wear frequency:
Eccos, for the office
Nike running shoes, my casual shoes when it’s too cold to wear…
cheapo river sandals, my warm-weather casual shoes
nylon booties that my brother-in-law made, to keep my feet warm around the house
Skechers, my former office shoes, for yardwork and stuff
cowboy boots, which I use as my “dress shoes”
boots from my forest fire fighting days, now worn most often to go play in the snow

Both pair of boots are approaching twenty years old.

I think I’ve been wearing the same pair of shoes for a decade now. They’re pretty much falling apart at this point, yet I’m too cheap to replace them. How pathetic is that?

3 Pairs.

Old sneakers that I wear all the time.
“Nice” sneakers that I wear for “nice” things.
Dress shoes.

Done. I am a guy.

5 pair - Steel toes for carpentry, casual black lace ups, dress wingtips, sneakers for the gym and special sneakers for actually running. The real shoes are black, the sneakers are in stupid colours because they don’t make them in black for reasons that escape me. I’m over it, really, I am…

10 pairs:

  • 1 pair of patent black shoes (for performances)
  • 2 pairs of black dress shoes
  • 1 pair of black boots
  • 1 pair of brown boots
  • 2 pairs of brown casual shoes
  • 1 pair of sandshoes
  • 1 pair of sandals
  • 1 pair of thongs

pat pat You need Shoe Love.

I went home and counted. 63 for me.

And yet - among all the shoes I have - I can’t find one pair of day-to-day black flats I like enough to buy. Hence why my current pair are falling apart . . .

Two pairs of flip-flops
One pair of sandals
One pair of joggers
One pair of safety boots
One pair of black shoes

Six pairs. And yes, I am a guy.
