How many people are still alive who were born in the 1800s?

Inspired by this thread, and another similar one a few weeks back.

According to Wikipedia, the oldest person still alive was born in 1893, as were the next five in the top 10 list.

Does anyone know of any stats or even best estimates as to how many people born in the 1800s are still going? Spanning three centuries is pretty neat.

Oh. I missed that one. When I said “a similar thread”, I meant one similar to the one I linked to, i.e. a tribute to a centenarian family member. Thanks for the link.
