Well, doubtless she has an army of fact-checkers to do such grunt work for her.
Doesn’t she?

Well, I guess that’s something we can all agree on.
I can’t believe I read this whole trainwreck of a thread! I’ll admit, is was kind of fun. And I’d go see the movie Evil Captor “envisioned”.
But I’ll bet it wouldn’t get a standing ovation. Who claps with one hand?
Overheard in the public restroom: “That’ll leave a skidmark all the way to the treatment plant!”
If enough people go FWAP FWAP FWAP FWAP FWAP FWAP fast enough, it almost sounds like applause…
There actually *is * an answer to the Zen koan “What is the sound of one hand clapping?”
The answer is to reach over and slap the questioner’s face.
Frankly I think Michael Moore is his own worst enemy, not because he promotes a particular political agenda but because he undermines it by using his research (which does turn legitimate items of concern regarding the Bush administration which should be addressed more seriously) to just take cheap, petty shots for laughs. It’s like acquiring a trebuchet to storm a castle and then just using it to throw paint balloons. At least calling someone a “Moore-on” requires little to no intellectual effort; why spend the time and money to dig up all that dirt on the President if all you’re going to do if call him a doodyhead?
I’ve read “Dude, Where’s My Country”, and while I’m no fan of Bush I have no plans to see F911 (which, IIRC, Moore himself identified as “propaganda” (in the sense of having a dedicated anti-Bush message), so it’s hardly a slur on the film to call it that – nor, of course, does it automatically nullify any factual content). Moore is a smug git, and smug gits are not exclusive to any political persuasion. Even where I may agree with him, I don’t want to watch him. I’ll go read John Newhouse or someone more mature, thank you very much.
To be fair and balanced here, I’ve also looked at books by Hannity and Coulter recently, and from what I’ve read they’re hardly in any position to carp on Moore’s objectivity or accuracy; Hannity in particular seems to be dependent upon a readership with zero critical reasoning skills, given his bizarre statements and flimsy rationalizations. Ms. Coulter presents at least a more coherent set of arguments, although her premises remain questionable. If she wants to make a movie, I’d probably watch the clips and the interviews and then not go (much like F911).
In short: both Michael Moore and his detractors shovel a lot of horseshit, but at least Moore has a horse.
