My wife is constantly on the phone, but does a lot of stuff with one hand. Me, I’m lucky if I get a call at all, except from her.

If I get any calls at all it’s likely my parents. But we don’t chat much - I see them in person.
I keep in touch via a mixture of Facebook, email and text.
It depends on whether it’s a weekday or weekend. I just checked my call log for the last week, and it’s pretty consistently one a day during the week. Over the weekend, it’s 3 or 4. I think that’s pretty average for me, too – on the weekends there are plans to be made, and during the week I have a much more established routine. Oh and I’m a woman.
Not counting telemarketers who ask for me specifically, I don’t get phone calls, except from my girlfriend.
Everyone else knows to get in touch with me via email, chat programs, or facebook.

Non-SO calls a day?
I get or make about three such calls a week, so .428/day. I don’t text much, either.
Non-SO personal calls per day? Uh, how about 1 a month on average. From my mum.
I hardly use my phone - I might get or make a call every two months, or less. If people talk to me its usually via email or PM on Facebook or a couple of other sites. I don’t text.
Female, 4-6 on average. Plus probably a half-dozen or so texts per day.
2-3/day, from my mother or TheKid’s school. I only text TheKid, unless I have received a call from her school. Then,if she’s not home, she gets a call.
I almost never talk on the phone unless someone from the kids’ school is calling me to come pick them up. I text my sister and a couple of other friends on a regular basis, though.
My phone plan is essentially unlimited calls and texts, and a decent chunk of data. I send a lot of texts, and I probably breach the boundaries of the data limit every month. I make about 40 minutes of voice calls a month on this phone. If only there was a plan that allowed for that. My phone isn’t used as an actual phone very often.
I have an iPhone with unlimited data. I got a text from att the other day saying I was in the top 5% of data users. Umm, yea me?
Non-SO? 1-2 a week, which is how often I call my mother. Everyone else gets emails or the occasional text, if it’s something urgent.
I’m female, and zero. I have a phone but I never answer it. The last time I placed an outbound call was to call roadside assistance a couple months ago. My voice mail directs people to email me instead.
I talk on the phone all day at work, the last thing I want to do when I go home is use the phone. Or talk, for that matter.
I talk to my mother every 3-4 days, my ex every 5-6 days, I email my father maybe 6 times a year. I don’t talk to my brother, there is no SO and I don’t have a cell phone to text anyone, not that there is anyone to text to.
I mostly text, so I don’t get many calls.
