How many posts until you are taken seriously?

Okay! I’m back! I’m ready to share… ahem, SHAVE, as soon as I get that card. Or my ass. Honestly, I’d prefer my ass. Unless that card carries discounts at local area merchants?

You beat me to it! But 1666 is a more memorable number than 1786.

Why thank you Rufus. I’d not noticed that and just figured it was a cumulative lines thing.

Learn something knew every day.

Said the poster with over 17,000 posts. Easy for you to say.

Not sure, really, but I figure another 7000 or so and I should be just about there.

[owl]Three-hee![/owl]
Sorry, all the other jokes were taken. :frowning:
There’s goes my chance to be taken seriously … well, there wasn’t really much chance of that anyway.

I thought Giraffe was well-known for his extremely long tongue?

Which is an episode of the French Chef that I want to make sure to miss.

What about the Join Date? Is a person who joined in 1999 w/ 3000 posts taken more seriously than a person who joined in 2003 with 5000 posts?

I’d just like to take the time to say that while I may be a humble peon, I’ve recognized almost every poster in this thread.

How many I take seriously is another matter entirely.

Oh shit. My probationary period is almost up!

Honestly, I felt weird posting when I was a serious newbie…but since then I’ve realized that I rarely look at people’s post counts (and often don’t even look at their names unless what they’ve said is particularly interesting or obnoxious), and there’s no reason to believe people are sitting at their computers basing their opinions of my posts on anything other than their own merit.

The fact that my posts rarely have any merit is an entirely separate issue…

For some reason, I don’t think it’s 227.

Or 228.

Wow! I didn’t expect you to take me seriously…

What a nice thing to find waiting for me on Valentine’s Day! King of Soup, you gave me some warm fuzzy feelings this morning. Thank you.
