True Story: It took me 126 or so, one time. Dunno if that’s an average, tho.
Last I counted, it was on the 243rd lick that I started tasting chocolate, all licks on the same side of the pop. This is not necessarily representitive of all Tootsie Roll pops, but it is how many it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop, i.e., that particular one.
